I’m a member of the mafia…in a sense
I spend all my time dressed in a black suit with the IT group.
We walk by each other making each other tense.
We carry our visual aids as if we were a military troupe,
Ready to fire at anyone who tries to beat us.
We don’t lose this game.
We act, scream, cry, speak, smoke, and cuss.
With every action we live up to our name.

I’m a member of the mafia…I guess.
We carry black books as our currency.
We win, and don’t settle for less.
We are a family with no mercy.
I wish I could say we were friends,
But that’s only for show.
We would watch each other fall on our heads,
And not even blink for the foe.
