Old and the Beautiful

They walk past us not noticing our gaze,
Their heads hunched over their eyes in a daze
Wearing a skin too big for their frame
Whether you smile or not, for them it’s the same

The times they've seen we've seen not,
Their eyes all teary, their mouths in a froth
So young we are but yet so blind
to the feelings that run on the aging mind!

Insightful! Good write!
