The Sound-Garden
Music teems the quiet nooks and crannies of my soul
Awakening it's dusky bounds, as vibrant sound extols
Streaming to my eardrums, setting vital signs in motion
As counteractive rhythm taps into my heart's emotion
It can not beam more brightly, trapped inside the sonic flood
My feet can't move more spritely, when those feelings start to bud
Different songs adversely change the mood of my facade
Songs that pulse and songs that grate, and songs that talk to God
Where music bleeds an energy, that leaves the mind entranced
That stalls the body's sequency, while soul continues dance
It's where i find a place to stow, without a leave of pardon
Inside the regal confines of the bristling soundgarden.
