Radio Towers
Blinking against the midnight sky, with bulbs of white and red
The towers work cohesively, a mile beyond my bed
From time to time i'd study them above the sleeping town,
The tallest spectrums that you'd see from distances around
As a child i thought that they could contact UFOs
Honing in to find their sonar from my radio
But that was just a lucent dream i pondered as a youth,
Ala the little fairy who would come to grab a tooth
Now I watch their roving dishes at a quarter past eleven
And wonder if it's possible if they could signal heaven?..

brought back a memory of when I was young and couldn't figure out how the tv signal got to the tv. I used to walk around to the back of the tv and look at the tubes lit up, silly stuff. My imagination really ran with that. raskin

Yes, our imagination ran pretty wild as children and as crazy poets they do as well {lolz} I looked at different things and just wondered off ya know,, like contrails from airplanes; i'd ask my mum why were the airplanes farting or something like that, but she'd just smile,.,. And the television set gave me a fit also, i thought the people in it were actually standing behind it{lolz} thanx so much for sharing your wondrous thoughts aswell »BRYCE
