Cancer Can Not Touch..

Cancer can not touch the blinding spirit you possess,
Enamored with a courage and a love that manifests

Your little heart beats stronger still, with joy that pulses wild
Your knowledge goes beyond your years, though you are just a child

I met you once and found a friend,, bright sparkles in your eyes
Brimming with a liveliness that morally defies

The doctors say there's no more hope.. that you would soonly die
But with a smile you tell them nope, that you are much alive

Just one of many children here, in this hospital building
With shaven heads and little fear, who's valor is unwielding

But in this room we pray tonight, in hoping for an answer
Awaiting for the day to come, when we can beat all cancers.

Bryce this was

A very sad, but understanding poem towards the children that have cancer a very moving one written from the very heart of one who cares,my prayers are also with them hugs to you for writing this, and Anne, plus all the children in the hospital who have cancer sincere hugs from Willow.

Thankyou very much for your kind well wishes my friend,, these children and all the children dealing with it have so much life in them eventhough doctors may say it's dwindling away.. i just hope we can finally find a cure for them all, because they deserve to revel in this world like the rest of us. »BRYCE

I love this, it shows there

I love this, it shows there is always hope, you just have to look hard enough and you'll always find it. I had to watch someone get taken by cancer and it's one of the most heart-wrenching things imaginable, because there's someone you love in pain and you can't do anything at all to stop it ♥

Jewel

I understand where you're coming, it seems like every family has someone suffering from it at some point,, we don't need to be losing loved ones from this horrible affliction because the pain and voids hurt us »BRYCE

I know

Someone always knows a person who's been lost to it, even if they weren't close to them personally because anyone can get it, old or young, fit or not, it's something I think most people wished didn't exist, because the hurt is so great ♥

Shows Pure Heart

A very touching write Mr Coast))- Kisses Rebecca

Beauty Is In Many Forms

It's a beautiful poem. It reminds me of someone I knew. She had cancer and lost her hair and later beat her cancer. I think you capture the spirit of these children very well in this verse.
