Beyond the Storm
The thunder had growled below my feet
But I couldn't feel it tremble
Lightening bolts clashed to the rumbling sea
But panic did not assemble
Beyond the storm clouds' purple haze
Hearing it belt in anger
Standing so calmly, I survey
Feeling no mortal danger
For there, on the otherside of it
Wrapped in tranquility
Sturdies my soul, in a sea of white
Firm with stability
Never again to feel the burning
Tears of the falling rain
Withering as it hits my skin
Daggering me in pain
I do not fear that same old same
For I have been forgiven
Pulled from the shrouds that overhang
Out from the darkness, driven
Far from the battered lands below
Lifted beyond the storm
Calm in the effervescent glow
Standing so safe and warm

Great Write Bryce!
It flows beautifully, and is one of my favourites of yours so far. The other was the ocean.
