Addiction
Finish me off
you cruel fated mask
youve hiden me long
in this cold pewter flask
held in my pocket
and held in my hand
ive loved the sea voyage
but hated the land
my flesh is so weak
and your bond is so strong
take your prize now
do not wait long!
but how can one ask for mercy
from one with no soul?
ive depended on the devil
to make me whole
how can i expect on the
very thing thats stole
away my heart and life
my blood, bone and soul?
In vain i ask
in vain i plead
finish me off, finish
your wicked deed!

Just the way it feels
"loved the sea voyage but hated the land," excellent image (one of many). But I have a question, is the title "Addition" or "Addiction"?
thank you
i didnt catch that.. thank you so much! glad you enjoyed the image..
She started as my lover
then turned on me and wanted me dead. I relate to begging to be finished off, to end it all, that hole in my soul had gotten to large and no matter how much i drank I could not fill it. Thanks for sharing this ......
