Traveling Partners

Our hearts thrill to one song
The tune--is it love?
No doubt, we can't be wrong
When from above.

The cheek you gently touch
The breath that blends with mine
Experiences of such
Are like fine wine

A dance of timeless length
Our eagle youth is back,
Glowing from One Strength
We have no lack.

Though ahead's a slippery road
Let me walk with You
Together bear the load:
A Home from two.

Thoughts--no need to dread
Spin like roundabouts,
But must not come to bed--
Permit no doubts.

The years to come are ours,
In God we take our stand
Traveling the stars
Hands in Hand.

Comments

Since I am new to this - I do not know how to encourage anyone to comment on my poetry. I see that many read it, but I get very few comments -- in fact, none. Therefore, I will comment on my own -- smiling.

Can't help but smile

when someone comments on their own poem, maybe I should try that. Lovely rhyme, very sweet. raskin
