So you’re getting older

You danced a lot at parties you drank a lot of wine
You had the best physical features yes you did look fine
You combed your hair so fashionable, you looked so really young
There were no lines on your face then but now there is a frown
Your complexion was very clean you had a healthy look
You used to read without glasses when you opened a book
You walked so fast , you knew that it was a fine exercise
You have to slow down and relax for this is really wise

You had this feeling in your head you felt good all day long
At fiftyfive your head just spins your past feeling has gone
The way you used to fuss yourself you cannot do that now
You have to relax, not to stress and not to be in row
The music that you listen to it has a slower beat
When you were young you liked the fast ones it had plenty heat
You make a new diet , for you your food it has to change
You want to look so healthy in your fifty’s that’s your age
You realize as you grow old you really look different
You are not young again, your youth and strength and glamour went
