Last Morning

One day, the sun will rise
and shine it’s heavenly rays;
my eyes will lazely gaze
on the morning’s raidiant skies.

In this morning a secret dwells
but time will tick the same
for in this heart the silent came
to call me home through calming swells

The last tear will fall
my last look be gleened
remembered forever the purpose redeemed
tempered and weathered by it all

my soul set free
from form and bind
vision from eyes seemingly blind
will again rememeber how to see

The last breath will
swell and fall from my breast
dispelling this life from the depths of my chest
until all that once spun is forever still

Joyful this day, this final farewell
now cradled forever in light
forgetting the movements from morning to night
now spining and grinning and living to tell

So try as I might, I can not forget
the secret the morning held onto that day
brilliant and raidiant full body-haze
when the sun of my eyes will suddenly set.
