Whispers of Love

I walked outside today and felt the breeze upon my neck
so softly whispering to me of Love .
Just standing there for a moment...
listening to the birds singing,
the warmth of the sunshine upon my skin,
the slight smell of salt in the air,
the misty fog begins to lift.
The beautiful blue hues of the sky over top of me,
going through me, all around me.
I begin to realize we are one in the same
only we share something different
and that is different names.
I see a tree that someone carelessly cut it's long branches
and now it seems to be only part of what it was meant to be.
Oh, wait there is the most brilliant green sprout!
For what was lost there is a new beginning.
I wonder how long it lie dormant, unoticed to my sight
there it was right before me
all I had to do was open my eyes,
open my heart and let go of the old
to make room for what will be
there is so much beauty to behold
if you just allow yourself to be free to see.
It was so simple , what took me so long?
For all that I've suffered and the answer was right there
waiting for me to listen
to the whispers of Love in the air.
There I stood all alone in the moment
or was I ?
The warmest true feelings of Love healing my broken heart
I felt so safe in my mother earth's arms
being together and not torn apart
protecting each other from harm.
Listen to the wind
for the whispers of Love
let it be your guiding freind
for the harm to be undone.

Very Interesting write

That was very interesting to read. I would love to know the meaning.

I stood in the midst of

I stood in the midst of God's creation and realized we were one. We need the earth as much as the earth needs us. I felt embraced by the warmth of God's Love, I felt protected and wanted. Many people have many needs and the answer is right before us, within us, It's so simple that it's easy to miss. Like the branches of the tree being cut so do we humans have destruction in our lives but if we open our hearts, minds, ears, and eyes we will see that God will renew us just as the broken limbs of a tree produced the new sprout.

This is about being still and knowing God. Being in the presence of the sacred within. The wind whispers Love is the Spiritual aspect of the power of God's Love, the divine. No one can capture it or contain it, no one can control it, no one can predict it, no one can see it but it is real and you can feel it.

You might see love everywhere

And that's all good.
Peaceful spiritualists are mostly harmless as long as they don't practice alternative medicine.

Still, some branches never regrow.
Whole civilizations have driven themselves into extinction, as we too are quite likely to do unless we stop clinging to the religions that seem so terribly glorious and righteous when viewed from the inside.
People need to stop feeling good about not killing their neighbors or lusting after their spouses, and actually start being observant and conscientious.

Religion is, and has always been the people's wooly sleep mask and the ultimate excuse for senseless aggression, a tool producing submission in the populace, diverting questions of morality into the furnace of unquestionable religious fervor, made even more detestable by its frequent and shameless usage in politics. Your Gods, and the religions around them, cause bloodshed on a daily basis.

What's the point in believing in something nice and fluffy when the belief itself creates so much death and mayhem?
I'd rather just be a good person. I wouldn't want to partake in this even if it did secure a place in some cushy hyped up afterlife.

You seem nice, though.
Sorry about the rant.

Yes, I do beleive in God but

Yes, I do beleive in God but I do not put my faith in religion. I agree that senseless wars have been fought and countless have died in the name of religion. I do not trust religious sects nor do I belong to one. Deep inside I just know that everywhere I look I see the beauty of God, my higher power if you will.
I do not have all the answers as I am on a personal Spiritual journey as are you.
Thank you for your insight and your honesty.

The conversation about the belief or disbelief in religion

My dear poet,

Again, this is a wonderful poem. I truly enjoy the verses and the uneven flow. It expresses the beauties that are seen only through your eyes and no one else. Wonderful Job.

As for as the conversation about the belief or disbelief in religion, Religion has not and never will be the answer for the problems that continue to pester us. It is just man’s way of reaching up to God. However, God is not up there to be reached.

Religion expresses our opinion of what we view God to be and to consist of. Nevertheless, God can not and will not conform to our reality. Lastly, Religion is just some dead person’s ideal of what God would have us, individually, to do and become. However, that has never been left up to us, collectively or individually to decide.

The Scriptures, our road map, clearly say that we, collectively and individually, are made in the image and likeness of God. Religion had nothing to do with this. The Scriptures states that God created all that we see, hear, feel, and breath just for us. Religion had nothing to do with that. The Scripture reveals the lengths a powerful God will go to protect, feed, and discipline His children. Religion had nothing to do with that.

The only thing religion is – is absolutely nothing worth paying attention to. Instead, look to the hills where your help comes from. Your help comes from God.

Thank You

I truly value intelligent consideration and appreciate your insight on the subject of religion. Isn't it wonderful how we each have gifts to bring, collaberatively; connecting us in synergestic energy.

Yes, it is

Regardless of the tremendous amount of turmoil that has been initiated upon our civilization in the name of religion, we shall always possess the innate ability to work together for the common good of mankind. We possess this unique ability because we were created by a unique God.

Regardless of the religious banner we fly, the unperceived connection is the inclination to be a better person than we were yesterday. Because of the gifts and abilities our creator laid at our feet at birth, we now have something to bring to the table of unity. The most valuable gift and ability that we received are the gift and ability to love.

It is lamentable how we each have the unused power to stop all the hurt that the human race, not religion, has caused. By simply using the gift and ability to love our brothers and sisters as God has loved us, we can really change our world.

As always, God bless you,
