"Sonnets Since September": VIII

Of all celestial beauties I have seen,
A brighter beauty there has never been.
My eye does spy her with my telescope–
She glimmers, shimmers, gleams, beams rays of hope!
She shines forth from that fiery firmament;
Prov’dential proof that she is Heaven sent!
In awe I have admired her from afar
Only to wonder as upon a star…
Who is she, and how could she shine so bright?
As if to steal the darkness from the night
Competing with the sun, its golden rays
With every little thing she does and says
The dark clouds of my cold soul disappear
When’er her warmth and sunshine draweth near

Stellar!

Glad to know someone else is writing astromical sonnets. Well done!
