Desert Night

More than myth or dream
Beauty intense and on fire
Unless you have felt and seen
Love’s magic in the air
On a starlit desert night
Glittering stars hang in the night sky
A blaze is the golden moon
Reach up and grab it
Use it to light and
Gaze upon your lovers face
On a crisp, cool night
You feel you could fly
On a sweet, desert night
That turns to dawn too soon
Coyotes howl at the moonlight
They’ve been known to reduce the
Hardest of hearts to softness
The sounds of a desert nights
Play a haunting lullaby
For lovers filled with passion and desire
In each other’s arms they lie
An Arizona night is the
Closest thing to Heaven
This cowboy an his gal has seen.
Gentle breeze and crickets sing
Time just stops, the world goes by
In a blanket made of love
All the world seems right
On a desert lovers night.
