Forever Dreamland
So lately you say you don't know,
denying all your fatal blows
It's true, they say that nothing ends in happy ending.
A father's little girl asleep
He sings to her about her dreams
Wishing this moment would be her forever.
Oh, Little princess has her dreams,
riding on her moonbeams.
The world is still a fairytale.
Tender heart so innocent,
real world makes its own descent,
Shattering Dreamland.
The city's hardened hearts alone
forgetting dreams they once have known
Nobody stops to sing to little girl.
Now little girl has grown so fast
thinking her Dreamland days have passed.
She too believes there's no such thing as happy ending.
She picks up daddy's old guitar
remembering wishing on a star,
if only fairytales were the worlds forever...
Oh, the world is such a hateful place
Dreamland is so out of place,
There's no such thing as happy endings.
Little princess has her dreams,
riding on her moonbeams.
The world is still a fairytale.
Tender heart so innocent,
real world makes its own descent,
Shattering Dreamland.
