As I lay here wondering if it's worth it,
I realize I forgot,
Forgot to ask you for help,
forgot to tell you how I feel,
Now two kids sleep beside me,
unaware of the pain I am in,
unaware of how much I care for them
and unaware of everything around them
Can I break a family to help one?
I feel so lost, unhelpful!
I even forgot to look from the other side,
I forgot to consider you're feelings,
forgot to speak the unspeakable
and most of all forgot what I needed to do
I forgot to tell someone to help,
Now I try to forget all,
pretend it never happen to me
act as though I am ok
pretend I don't care
about what you did to me
act as if your a good guy,
but it won't go away
and yet I forgot to tell you
something so important
but yet I never said a word about it,
I guess something’s are best forgotten
