Puzzled by my friend
You have been a very good friend
But often driven me round the bend
I know you enjoy our play
As we’ve been together for many a day
I’ve tried to solve your riddle
As I sat with you and fiddled
Twisting and turning your sides
Very smoothly they used to glide
But now all your little squares
Are In need of a few repairs
Your answer I still can’t find
And your sides now begin to grind
I’m going to give you some lube
My poor worn out Rubik’s cube.

wonderful poem, andrew
Yes, at one time I could do a Rubik's cube in less than five minutes, and I am no genius! I found a book that told you exactly how to do it, and I memorized it! Of course, that is a form of cheating but I have never liked to be completely stumped!
Of course, I think your poem says a lot about the people in our lives, too. My favorite movie is "A River Runs Through It". We never understand the people in our lives, but we love them anyways! (The book was wonderful, too!)
Thanks for your great poem, andrew!
joyce
joyce and andrew..just a note...
one of my favorite movies is "a river runs through it" also!
Linda
i think i'll watch it today...
You will have to teach me
Thanks Joyce, you will have to teach me, because I have read the books, looked at ways on the internet, and I just can't do it, had a friend try to show me and still couldn't, I will beat it in the end! I'm not sure if I've seen that film, but will watch it.
Thanks for your comments.
Andrew
