Burning Bush

Through tough times,
Tears forming then drop.
Misconceptions, confusion,
Are we at a loss in a cultural shock!
Has God forsaken us?
When will the pain of Hell stop!

Longing for appreciation,
Family values going in reverse.
Loving is at a minimal,
Can this heart ache get any worse?
Climbing a mountain of wars and confusion.
But yet ahead, I can see the grey clouds disperse.

Heaven is not visible,
But I see a burning bush.
The fire is so incomprehensible!
I hear the command to come closer,
Can this request be reasonable?

I have cried in the wilderness,
Wanting God to move first.
Afraid to step in His direction,
But yet I struggle with the pain and hurt!
I took that step as I was commanded,
God took two steps and my soul was immersed…

The flames engulfed me!
Seizing my body, mind and soul.
My pains faded away,
The fire had taken control.
I felt the fire purging…
Then in an instant a felt consoled.

Let me say to you,
About this Divine Fire you will never see…
A fire that will quicken your heart, mind and soul!
Giving you love compassion and humility.
Your soul will be free from pain and confusion,
In this world your soul will be free!

Like unto God we must take that extra step,
With intense love and understanding.
Forgiveness and redemption will be a joy!
For the love of your heart is for all humanity.
Each day we can pass on this flame,
Restoring our human family!

You must climb up the mountain,
You must make it on the mountains of Cush!
No matter how hard…
You must be consistent you must push.

For it is only at the peak of every mountain…
That you will receive God’s power!
In the form of a…Burning Bush.
