Art Of A Poet by Amir Timur
Art Of A Poet

The sweet surrender that you gave me when we first met,
Was like the quenching of my thirst on a hot summer day,
When you took my hand, your touch was cool and soothing.
Your lips hydrating to a lost lover like me, so passionate.
Now I am reborn in love, I have regained my confidence…
Softly you showed me you cared,
Loving me with affection of a true lover,
Your passion kept me right there,
I am trying to hold on to your touch…
But baby your loving has me near despair.
I needed someone that could understand my ambitions.
Even certain dilemmas, as I work hard at my art
Encompassing love, peace and sensual renditions…
The words that captivated you from the very start,
Now you rip it all in shreds with jealous selfish intentions.
Softly you gave me care,
Loving me with affection as a lover,
Your passion had kept me right there…
I was trying to hold on to your touch…
But baby loving you has me in despair.
Now I am alone again although still expressing my art,
Of love peace and passion for lovers to come together,
Through words that were inspired from loving you in part.
So I continue my art without your soft cool touch.
Words are still flowing even through a broken heart.
Secretly I write to show I care,
Loving you with affection as your lover,
With passion to keep you right here
To have you hold on to my touch
Showing love through art not despair…
Sweet surrenders I give lovers the have met,
Art quenching their thirst on a hot summer day.
Holding hands with touches cool and soothing.
Causing hydrated kisses for your lover so passionate,
Let this art make you reborn in love, regain your confidence…
As I write to show my care,
Creating art for all affectionate lovers,
Compassion to keep them both right there.
Hold on to your lovers touch…
Give your love beyond despair.

Hearts
Breaking a heart can result in two broken hearts....
Hearts
When you support someone, their work, even their art, there can never be a tearing apart. For what laughter comes from a struggling soul? Frustrations, confusion and emotional falling aparts...
Your response
Your words are true, love should never cause pain or doubt or suspicion.....lessons are learned, and lonely space fills my heart.....Linda
