Slanderous
Slanderers meander around the land, seeking the feeding of Pavlov's hand.
They demand answers to questions they falsely pose, wearing white-washed coffin clothes.
Pray they see the end of night, in misunderstanding fright they dilute the light.
They cannot perceive what they do not believe, instead the grieve over things they see.
With scale-covered eyes, they witness only demise.
With scared choleric cries they'll never realize,
The grace given to the world, strong as diamond, pure as gold,
Is given free to you and me to be blameless in His sight.
Instead they bring the divide and meaningless plight.
Arrogant and judgmental hearts, they forget they are part,
Of the sinful nature native to Earth. Have they forgotten their birth?
A child screaming evil, seeping evil from the moment they conceived.
Only Jesus Christ completes thee, flee from your ways and disgrace!
Instead build one another up in faith. That is your place.
Glory to Him in the highest, Christ paid for our blindness!
Open your eyes and see the skies that the Alpha and Omega begot.
Realize the war is won, but your battle has just begun.
Stand steadfast in Him and flee from slanderous sin.
He will protect you, the Beginning and the End.

i was feeling a little sad when i logged in this morning... allowing the stresses of daily life get to me... and then i read your poem... and it made me smile. it reminded me that we serve an awesome God, a loving God, a miracle-working God, and to keep looking to Him and see and appreciate the beauty and joy He fills our lives with.
"God has a perfect plans in our lives... but He never reveals them to us all at once... just step by step because He wants us to walk by faith and not by sight"
so today i reaffirm to not look through scale-coloured eyes, and keep looking up... thank you.
