Song without a voice
A saddest song within me idly pursed
Is lodged in lyrical melancholy.
A muted voice attempts to sing a verse
But only soundless words escape from me.
Its somber composition might as well
Be blank without a pleasing melody.
The lyrics are lost as sinners in Hell.
The couplet verses filled with self-pity.
An aria within my doleful soul;
A piece that never will be heard by ears.
A single opus creation, surreal
And limited, saddening with no tears
A song without a voice to sing its sad
Refrain, enough to drive me raving mad.

Honestly
you will get actual people clicking on your poem with comments if you stop clicking on your own poems and post one or two a day. I have been on the showcase for over a year and seen ppl like you trying to self-promo their poems. It is surprisingly obvious to everyone ........ Give it some thought
if a flagrant shot in the dark makes its mark is it grossly lucky ?
Recent interest in my work
Sir,
I can not control my friends who have recently been informed of this site and two other sites I publish my work. I happen to belong to a few poetry meets and recitals and due to the fact that next month is national poetry month I told my friends to look into these sites and see what I have to offer when we meet next month. I told them not to make any comments, reserve them for next month’s sessions. In return I told them that I would reciprocate. Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment.

If you say so .... you had over 80 of your friends look at your poem this morning almost all at once. Truly remarkable. That's OK you haven't been the first to use this story " many friends many sites".
Knock yourself out but don't be surprised how few comments you will get on your poems by doing this.
