I’m writing this poem, just for you,
So you can see how my words are true,
I want you to know, you’re my closest friend,
And we’ll be together, until the end.

You’re always there, when I’m feeling blue,
You’re always there, when I need you,
You’re always around, when I’m in trouble,
You’re like a jewel, amongst the rubble.

You’re a rare gift, a beautiful find,
You’re in all my thoughts, filling my mind.

You’re my best friend, always, forever,
I hope that always we’ll be together.
