The Fall
Crystals of light,
Plunging in flight,
Waves of solar flare
Flying through the air.
Riding the wind
We descend
Spinning around
Plummeting down.
From the center dispersed
Entering into mother earth.
Falling between the cracks,
The crossroads of future and past,
Like grains of sand
Inside of an hourglass.
This broken heart,
Fallen apart,
Into shards
Of a thousand
Radiant diamonds.
These unloosed arrows
Shot from the bow of Eros,
These seeds
Seeding the dreams of Psyche
With a common story,
One part tragic,
Two parts comic.
Taking shape,
Birthing form.
Dusk, sun's descent,
Rise of moon's crescent.
Rubies enshrouded inside,
Veiled by the night.
