The Dead Seagull
I just saw a seagull get run over,
What it would have given to be in Dover,
Enjoying life out by the sea,
Instead of being savaged in front of me
If that seagull had been clever,
It would not have lost a single feather,
Its should have really flown away,
But in my heart, it will always stay
